A strong signal of resilience and restart, for a tourism of proximity in the name of safety. From Monday 18 May the Frasassi Caves will be operational again for the reception and visit of the most admired and appreciated underground route in Italy. "We are aware that we cannot yet count on extra-regional presences - states the lawyer Marco Filipponi, mayor of Genga - but it is a duty to promote a message of trust and measured positivism.

The reopening of the caves implies the restart of our whole territory, whose vitality revolves around the strong pulling of the underground complex. We are realistic and we do not expect a flow that will bring us back to the pre-emergency seasons, but we consider it important to restart a sector that is already paying the consequences of the moment ». "We can safely say that our territories, characterized by large open spaces, allow tourists to be able to appreciate the landscape and environmental beauties in complete safety - says the engineer Lorenzo Burzacca, Vice President of the Frasassi Consortium - so much so that the Frasassi area has always been confirmed as a favorite destination for hikers, vacationers and families ".

In fact, the whole area of the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Park enjoys suggestive panoramic points that can be reached through paths that can guarantee the adequate spacing required. The Consortium has drawn up the tourist fruition regulation, which will remain in force until new and further modifications of the latest decrees issued by the Government.
